Kindness and Inclusion at Carmi Staff and students at Carmi participated in Pink Shirt Day on February 28, 2024, a campaign that helps raise awareness and prevent bullying by promoting inclusion and kindness in our diverse communities.

Reading! At Carmi, our school goal is to improve the reading ability of each student through a wide variety of activities. Whether it is reading buddies, reading to self or Story Workshop, each student works to improve their reading on a daily basis. Click to see more pictures!
The VEES visit Carmi! The Penticton Vees visited Carmi Elementary in January 2024, and challenged the students to some friendly competition in the gym.
10,000 Tonight Way to go, Carmi! Together we raised 168 food items to help support 10,000 Tonight! Thank you, Carmi families, for your generosity. Over 13,000 items were collected in total this holiday season.
Terry Fox Run This year, Carmi raised $615.00 for the Terry Fox Foundation, and received a special thank you for our donation. Photos from our run could be featured on the Terry Fox Foundation website.
No Stone Left Alone Carmi participated in an authentic act of remembrance by visiting Lakeview Cemetery and placing poppies at the gravestones of veterans. Lest We Forget.
